Bilingual Forklift Operator
Location: Ottawa, IL
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Schedule:M-F 7AM - 400PM

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our team in Ottawa, IL. This position is responsible for operating a sit-down forklift to move materials throughout the warehouse, build pallets, store finished products, and support daily shipping and receiving operations.
The ideal candidate will have prior forklift experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Essential Responsibilities - Safely operate a sit-down forklift on a daily basis.
- Build and organize pallets for storage and shipment.
- Move, stage, and put away products in designated warehouse locations.
- Load and unload materials as needed.
- Maintain accurate inventory placement and warehouse organization.
- Inspect forklift equipment and report any maintenance concerns.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned.
- Prior sit-down forklift experience required.
- Forklift certification preferred (or ability to obtain certification).
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Previous warehouse, shipping, or distribution experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift and move materials as needed.
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
- Frequent forklift operation during the workday.
