Pay: $36.19 - $54.28 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant''s relevant experience

This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option

Summary:

Leads industrial hygiene assessment, exposure evaluation, and occupational and environmental health activities. Provides technical expertise to anticipate, recognize, evaluate, and control hazards in healthcare and other occupied facility environments.

Responsibilities:

Conduct and coordinate exposure assessments, monitoring, and sampling for chemical, physical, and biological hazards. Investigate employee concerns and indoor air quality issues, interpret results, and recommend effective controls.

Support construction and renovation projects through environmental quality assessments, infection control coordination, containment verification, and turnover sampling. Evaluate asbestos, lead, mold, water intrusion, and other hazardous materials concerns and coordinate remediation.

Maintain OSHA injury and illness records and support responses to OSHA complaints, inquiries, and inspections. Coordinate environmental permitting, compliance documentation, and regulatory or accreditation readiness.

Develop and deliver occupational and environmental health training and conduct facility audits and field assessments. Standardize industrial hygiene programs, records, tracking, and reporting across regions.

Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in industrial hygiene, occupational or environmental health, chemistry, engineering, or a related science field.

• Preferred: Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) or Certified Associate (CAIH) Industrial Hygienist.

• Minimum 5 years of industrial hygiene, occupational health, or environmental health experience, with working knowledge of OSHA, NIOSH, ACGIH, and EPA standards and exposure-assessment methods.
