Aerosol Monitoring & Analysis, Inc (AMA), in an environmental, health and safety consulting firm with more than 45 years of experience in providing Hazardous Materials Investigations, Asbestos, Lead, Mold Surveys and Inspections, Abatement Monitoring, Indoor Air Quality Investigations, Industrial Hygiene Surveys, Facility Safety Surveys, Environmental Site Assessments as well as EH&S Training.  We provide these services to government agencies, institutions, building owners, property managers, architects, and engineers. 

We have an immediate need for several experienced Industrial Hygienist to join our team.  $70,000 salary with relevant experience, training, accreditation, and licenses.  AMA is a noted leader in our field; we take on a team-oriented approach and are looking for employees to grow with us and help build our business.

Through our in-house training division, AMA provides our staff with the required training courses in asbestos, lead, mold, and other safety topics.  We offer competitive salaries, and a generous benefit package with yearly performance reviews.

Qualifications & Requirements:

·         College Degree in a Science-related field is preferred but not required

·         Candidate should have 2 to 8 years of experience within industry, preferably with experience conducting abatement monitoring, lead, asbestos, and mold inspections

·         Well-spoken and excellent communication skills

·         Ability to deal directly with clients in a professional manner

·         Ability to work independently

·         Computer skills including Microsoft Office

·         Asbestos Inspector, Lead Inspector, and NIOSH 582 Course preferred, but not required.

·         Valid driver's license and transportation for work.

·         Ability to pass government background check for federal facility access

Responsibilities:

·         Perform asbestos, lead paint and other hazardous material surveys

·         Perform asbestos and lead abatement monitoring

·         Perform air, surface, and water sampling according to EPA, OSHA, NIOSH, and industry analytical methods

·         Perform indoor air quality assessments, mold sampling, and industrial hygiene surveys

·         Perform facility safety surveys and assessments

·         Obtain and maintain applicable certifications and licenses

·         Other responsibilities as required
