Position: Industrial Hygienist / Process Safety Engineer
Type:Contract
Compensation:$65–$75 per task
Location:Remote

Role Responsibilities

• Write challenging single-turn prompts in chemistry and chemical safety. Label them as benign, dual-use, or adversarial.
• Evaluate AI model responses against a defined policy standard. Judge correctness of handling.
• Write reference answers with technical reasoning for correct responses.
• Assess dual-use scenarios. Ensure models refuse dangerous questions while answering legitimate ones.
• Collaborate with AI research teams to improve model judgment on misuse potential.
• Work independently and asynchronously. Maintain flexible hours.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Certified industrial hygienist with experience in exposure assessment, sampling strategy, and control banding.
• Experience in process hazard analysis, including HAZOP, LOPA, and management of change.
• Expertise in toxic release and dispersion modeling, with knowledge of AEGL/ERPG criteria.
• Experience in ventilation, containment, and PPE program design for chemical hazards.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance such as PSM, Seveso, COMAH, or OSHA.

Preferred

• Prior technical writing, published research, or expert witness experience. Include a sample or link.
