Job Summary:
We are seeking experienced Industrial Hygienists/Safety Professionals to support occupational health and safety compliance projects throughout Florida. This role involves project planning, regulatory compliance, inspections, safety program support, and coordination with project stakeholders on construction and long-term environmental compliance initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Support occupational health and safety compliance programs.
Conduct compliance inspections and follow-up assessments.
Develop corrective action plans and Plans of Action & Milestones (POAMs).
Track findings, document corrective actions, and maintain compliance records.
Assist with project planning, organization, and coordination with contractors and government representatives.
Prepare required compliance documentation, sampling plans, and reports.
Present compliance status during project meetings.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Hygiene or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in safety program development and regulatory compliance.
Demonstrate basic understanding and working knowledge of OSHA regulations (Title 29 CFR).
Experience with compliance inspections, corrective actions, and regulatory documentation.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to support multiple projects and work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
Experience with identifying requirements and preparing associated required plans, sampling, etc.
Conduct compliance inspections for compliance; conducting follow-up, developing corrective actions plans and Plans of Action and Milestones (POAMs), tracking findings/corrective actions, documenting closure of findings with objective evidence (photos, updated documents, etc), and updating tracking/management systems.
Ability to assist with large project management: Organization, Planning input; Subject matter expert input; Coordination with project specific contractors; Coordination with government environmental media managers; Overall participation in the completion of such projects
Ability to participate in meetings to present compliance status.
