Industrial Janitor

The Mundy Companies, a leader in the industrial maintenance, services, and construction fields, is currently hiring the following for a long-term position in the Corpus Christi, Texas area:

INDUSTRIAL JANITOR

This position will be working a 40 hour week on a 5 x 8s Schedule, with potential for overtime.

Responsibilities:

• Keep buildings in a clean and orderly condition
• Perform various cleaning duties
• Perform routine maintenance cleaning tasks
• Organize custodial closets and spaces
• Maintain working condition of cleaning equipment

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in cleaning, maintenance, or other related fields is preferred, but not required
• Ability handle a physical workload when needed

The successful candidate will maintain a high degree of personal safety and environmental awareness at all time. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions in a safe, efficient manner. The ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing is also required. All qualified applicants must be craft certified or possess the ability to pass a criminal background check, pre-employment drug screen and other qualifications as required.
