Industrial Janitor

Our client, a manufacturing and production company, is seeking an Industrial Janitor to join their team. As an Industrial Janitor, you will be part of the maintenance support team, ensuring a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for all staff and visitors. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Industrial Janitor

Location: Middletown, DE

Pay Range: $17/hour

Shift: 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am  2-2-3-2 rotation.

What's the Job?

• Maintain cleanliness of buildings by keeping them in a clean and orderly condition.
• Remove debris from production areas and sanitize workspaces to ensure safety and hygiene.
• Disinfect commonly used areas to prevent contamination and promote health standards.
• Empty trash and recycling bins regularly to maintain a tidy environment.
• Notify management regarding repairs, maintenance needs, and inventory supplies.

What's Needed?

• Experience in janitorial or cleaning roles is required
• Ability to perform physical activities such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
• Reliable and proactive attitude with good communication skills.
