LASER HELPER:
Needing 1 to start on Thursday morning and 3 to start oin Friday monring
Job Summary: The Laser Helper supports the laser operator and production team in a metal fabrication manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for assisting with machine setup, material handling, quality checks, and maintaining a safe and organized work area to ensure efficient production flow.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist laser operators with setup and operation of laser cutting machines. Load and unload raw materials and finished parts. Sort, stack, label, and move materials throughout the production area. Inspect parts for quality, accuracy, and defects according to specifications. Remove scrap material and keep work areas clean and organized. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment as needed. Read basic work orders, production schedules, and blueprints. Assist with routine machine maintenance and cleaning. Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements. Support other departments as needed to meet production goals.
