Available Shifts

• 1st Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 5:00 PM - 1:30 AM

Spherion Mid Ohio is hiring Industrial Machine Operators for hands-on manufacturing opportunities in Norwalk.

This position involves operating manual and computerized cutting equipment, measuring materials, and producing parts to specifications. We're looking for dependable candidates with mechanical aptitude, strong measuring skills, and an interest in developing their machine-operation experience.

What You'll Do

• Set up and operate industrial saws and cutting equipment
• Cut and shape materials according to work orders and specifications
• Measure materials accurately using a tape measure
• Monitor equipment and make basic operating adjustments as trained
• Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality
• Load and unload materials during production
• Follow equipment safety procedures and production instructions
• Keep work areas organized and safe
• Work with your team to maintain production flow

What We're Looking For

• Previous manufacturing or machine-operation experience preferred
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure
• Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to follow work orders and instructions
• Dependable attendance and work habits
• Comfortable working in a dusty, physically active manufacturing environment
• Willingness to learn new equipment and processes

Experience with saws, cutting equipment, or machine setups is a strong plus.
