Description
Industrial Machinery Mechanic
Malvern, PA
Hourly Rate: $30.00- $45.00 (Depending on experience)
Third Shift Hours 11:00PM-7:00AM
Responsibilities:
Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes
Troubleshoot issues using electrical and mechanical drawings
Repair and replace electrical components and wiring
Maintain critical spare components inventory to support 24 hour operations
Coordinate maintenance and repair with production and quality assurance teams
Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility's equipment
Provide emergency unscheduled repairs of production equipment during machine service
Demonstrate proficiency in troubleshooting all aspects of equipment operations
Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments
Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities
Maintain critical spare components and work with local machine shops for fabrication
Operate small equipment like grinders, drill press, measuring equipment
Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision
Assist with equipment training and technology transfer to operators as needed
Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
Possess electrical knowledge of basic systems such as 480VAC three phase wiring, 24VDC wiring, 90VDC motors, SCR's, AC motors, VFD's, sensors, relays
Requirements
High School Diploma and/or preferred technical degree in maintenance and equipment repair
Minimum of 5 years in an electrical and mechanical support role in a manufacturing environment
Experience in performing industrial mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of projection machines
Able to prioritize tasks
Knowledge of preventative maintenance practices and programs preferred (TPM, OEE, etc)
Effective communication & writing skills with multi functional groups (QA, Engineering, Production)
Must possess basic computer skills, and be willing to learn MRP system
Possess supervisory skills to motivate co-workers to perform their best
