What You’ll Do
Champion D-Riven and customer safety protocols from pre-job briefing through closeout.
Rig, install, assemble, disassemble, relocate, and service mechanical industrial equipment.
Operate and direct industrial rigging tools such as Versa-lifts, millwright casters, industrial forklifts, overhead cranes, and related equipment to move machinery within and between facilities.
Complete installations following engineered drawings and schematics; verify placement, level, and alignment.
Document disassembly procedures to streamline accurate reassembly.
Inspect and troubleshoot machinery; identify defects and malfunctions and recommend corrective actions.
Perform mechanical repairs, including bearing, shaft, pulley, belt, and chain replacements.
Carry out preventive maintenance: cleaning, lubrication, alignment, and inspections to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with engineers and fellow technicians to resolve complex on-site challenges.
Support chilled water, tower water, natural gas, and compressed air utility upgrades by fabricating and installing threaded, grooved, or pressed pipe systems.
Build pallets and palletize equipment for interplant transfers.
Load and unload dry vans and specialty trailers using powered equipment.
Maintain tools, manage parts and supplies, and assist with other routine site tasks as needed.
Travel & Rewards
Role involves 100% travel—typically 3–4 weeks on the road at a time (sometimes longer), with occasional breaks, especially around holidays. As part of the travel team, you’ll be traveling continuously.
Company arranges and pre-pays hotels, flights, and rental cars.
Mileage reimbursement at $0.725 per mile when driving your personal vehicle from home to the work site (daily travel from hotel to jobsite is not reimbursable).
$70.00 per diem paid each day.
Accrue 120 hours of PTO (vacation, sick, personal) usable with manager approval.

Specialized Background We Value
Hands-on experience assessing, documenting, disassembling, palletizing, and rigging plastics extrusion equipment (single and twin barrel extruders).
Experience with plastics material feed systems: vacuum pumps, transfer piping, desiccant dehumidifiers, gas-fired dryers, crystallizers, and vacuum loaders.
Experience with plastics pellet feed systems, including vacuum pumps, transfer piping, and desiccant dehumidification.
Expertise in laying out, placing, leveling, and commissioning plastics extrusion and thermoforming equipment.
Background with thermoformers (Lyle, Brown, GN, Kirkhoff, etc.).
Comfort working around web scanner radioactive sources while following safe operating procedures.
Familiarity with specialized rigging equipment: Versa-lifts, Hillmann Traksporters (walk-behind and remote robots), and carry-deck cranes.
Education & Experience
High school diploma or GED.
Technical certification or vocational training in a trade or mechanical technology.
2–5 years of relevant industrial manufacturing experience.
