A Day in the Life
Install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment and systems across the plant.
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
Diagnose faults quickly and implement effective corrective actions.
Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Apply and uphold safety procedures and electrical codes at all times.
Coordinate with mechanics, production, and other trades to complete tasks efficiently.
Accurately document maintenance and repair activities.
Engage in ongoing training to stay current with evolving technologies and practices.
What You Bring
High school diploma or equivalent; apprenticeship completion preferred.
Valid electrician license or certification.
Hands-on experience in an industrial electrician role (or closely related position).
Strong command of electrical systems, wiring methods, and troubleshooting.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, prints, and schematics.
Sharp problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Clear communicator and effective collaborator in a team-based environment.
Flexibility to work varied hours, with overtime as needed.
