Industrial Maintenance & Facilities Manager (IATF 16949)

You’ll orchestrate maintenance engineering for the entire plant—protecting uptime, empowering people, and building a facility that performs at its best every single shift.

What you'll do

• Relentlessly improve machine uptime and OEE against company benchmarks.
• Put employees and equipment safety first; apply and enforce HSE guidelines.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment and machinery issues to keep production flowing.
• Work hand-in-hand with Production to achieve company objectives and hit daily targets.
• Install, commission, maintain, and relocate machinery; execute new plant layouts.
• Supervise outside contractors and verify safe, high-quality work.
• Keep thorough maintenance records; chart trends per SOPs and our QMS.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, Environmental standards, and IATF 16949.
• Lead emergency repairs anywhere in the plant to minimize impact.
• Maintain 5S and high housekeeping standards throughout the facility.
• Coordinate with Purchasing for spares, tooling, and supplies; manage vendor relationships.
• Safeguard uptime with a well-managed critical spare parts inventory.
• Motivate and involve team members; collect and act on improvement suggestions.
• Hit departmental goals while driving continuous improvements in MTTR and MTBF.
• Act decisively on safety, maintenance, and process issues with corrective actions.
• Join daily production meetings; commit to and deliver on action items.
• Follow best practices and comply with regulations governing powered industrial equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

How you'll lead

• Schedule, execute, and document preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Train, direct, develop, supervise, and evaluate maintenance personnel.
• Use data to prioritize work, prevent recurrence, and sustain improvements.

What you bring

• Proven background leading industrial maintenance in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and calm command during emergency repairs.
• Experience with PM/PdM systems, 5S, and continuous improvement tools.
• Knowledge of QMS requirements, Environmental standards, and IATF 16949.
• Ability to coordinate contractors, manage spares, and partner effectively with Purchasing and Production.
• Fluency with reliability metrics (OEE, MTTR, MTBF) and how to improve them.

Your first 90 days

• Stabilize a preventive and predictive maintenance cadence with complete records.
• Audit critical spares and close gaps that threaten uptime.
• Run a rapid root-cause program to cut repeat failures and MTTR.
• Refresh 5S, establish a safety-first cadence, and align with HSE best practices.
• Create a roadmap for upcoming installations, relocations, and plant layout improvements.
