A hands-on maintenance manager role leading the technicians and equipment at a new, state-of-the-art industrial laundry facility. You will run the preventive maintenance program, lead diagnostic troubleshooting, manage parts and vendors, and keep the plant running. This is a working leadership role, not a desk job.
What You'll Do:
Lead and supervise the maintenance team, including mechanics and porters
Run the preventive maintenance program using manuals and PC-based tools
Direct diagnostic troubleshooting on all plant equipment and monitor repair quality
Manage spare-parts inventory and vendor purchasing to minimize plant downtime
Maintain safety programs and control energy costs through performance monitoring
Requirements
Supervisory or management experience leading teams of mechanics
Knowledge of industrial equipment: electrical, pneumatic, steam, water, and hydraulics
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
A hands-on approach, comfortable on the floor and training as needed
