Responsibilities:<\/b><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>

<\/span><\/span><\/div>
  • Manage a team of mechanics for the West Chester production facility, with departments that run 24/7<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Lead the strategic growth of the maintenance department by defining roles, employees' talents, and transitioning operations from reactive to a preventive culture<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Read and use electrical schematics and mechanical drawings to troubleshoot issues<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Repair and replace electrical components and wiring<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Maintain critical spare components inventory to support 24 -hour operations<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Coordination of maintenance and repair with production and quality assurance teams<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the facility's equipment<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Demonstrate proficiency in trouble shooting all aspects of equipment operations<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Performs regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Operate small equipment like grinders, drill press, measuring equipment<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report to management and QA<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Assist with equipment training and technology transfer to operators as needed<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Have supervisory skills, able to encourage and motivate various personalities to perform their best<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Have basic computer skills, willing to learn a web -based MRP system to update the create schedules and checklists for preventive maintenance<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Possess electrical knowledge of basic systems such as 480VAC three -phase wiring, 24VDC wiring, 90VDC motors, SCR's, AC motors, VFD's, sensors, relays<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Have ability to understand electrical schematics and troubleshoot faulted machinery<\/span><\/span>

    Requirements<\/h3>
    • High School Diploma and/or preferred technical degree in maintenance and equipment repair<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Minimum of 5 years in an electrical and mechanical support role in a manufacturing environment<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Experience in performing industrial mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Minimum of 1 year managerial experience<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Effective communication & writing skills with multifunction groups (QA, Engineering, Production)<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Proven problem -solving skills and prioritization of tasks<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Knowledge of preventative maintenance practices and programs preferred (TPM, OEE, etc.)<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Must be able to reach, write, and speak fluent English<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>
