Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment, including electrical systems, PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, robotics, motors, drives, and automated conveyor systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance by inspecting equipment, checking fluid levels, replacing filters and worn components, and cleaning/lubricating machinery.
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions, determine necessary repairs, source or fabricate replacement parts, and test equipment following repairs.
- Maintain and repair facility equipment and infrastructure, including forklifts/lift equipment, battery chargers, fencing, parking areas, emergency exits, and other general maintenance needs.
- Maintain maintenance inventory and tools, including replacement parts, power tools, hand tools, and equipment; keep accurate repair and maintenance records.
- Follow all safety and 6S standards, including OSHA requirements, proper PPE, machine safeguarding, housekeeping, and reporting of potential safety hazards.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 5-7 years of industrial maintenance experience with strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting experience.
- Working knowledge of PLCs, electrical wiring, hydraulics, pneumatics, robotics, and automated conveyor systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot, repair, fabricate, weld, and install manufacturing equipment and components.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to read and follow work instructions, schematics, and technical documents.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding manufacturing environment, including standing, climbing, bending, kneeling, and occasionally lifting up to 70 lbs.
