Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical problems involving production machinery and facility equipment
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to reduce equipment downtime
• Inspect equipment and identify worn, damaged, or malfunctioning components
• Repair or replace bearings, belts, chains, motors, pumps, and related parts
• Read equipment manuals, mechanical drawings, and schematics
• Assist with equipment installation, adjustment, and startup
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and restore operations safely
• Document completed repairs and maintenance activities
• Follow safety procedures and lockout/tagout requirements

Requirements

• Previous industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience required
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing production equipment
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals
• Understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance procedures
• Electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, welding, or fabrication experience is preferred
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work around machinery
• Ability to lift and move tools, parts, and equipment as required
