National Star Services, a 27-year facility management company with nationwide operations, is hiring a skilled Industrial Mechanic/Technician to join a stable company in Chicago, IL 60612.
This is a Temp-to-Hire opportunity for a hands-on maintenance professional who wants to grow his maintenance career and values safety, teamwork, as well as quality work.

- Monday–Friday | 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM (1st Shift)

What You’ll Do
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical & electrical systems
- Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment
- Fabricate and repair components as needed
- Work with hydraulics, pneumatics, and power transmission systems
- Complete work orders using computer systems
- Maintain safety and quality standards
- Collaborate with team members on technical issues
- Be available for overtime and on-call coverage when needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical & electrical troubleshooting skills
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding (Required)
- Manufacturing maintenance experience required
- Basic computer skills for work orders
- Reliable transportation
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Ability to start ASAP
