Description
About the role
As an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic, you’ll keep our food production operation running by inspecting, repairing, modifying, painting, cleaning, and maintaining the entire facility and grounds. You’ll work to GMP and food safety standards to help ensure safe, high-quality products and a clean, safe environment for the plant. You’ll also support production equipment upkeep through preventive maintenance, parts ordering, and hands-on troubleshooting.
A day in the life
Keep production, assembly, packaging, and warehouse running by diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining refrigeration, process, and building systems.
Spend 100% of your time on the floor—across the production floor, the maintenance shop, and exterior areas—staying close to the equipment and teams you support.
Own the preventive maintenance program and maintain thorough documentation.
Identify and implement continuous improvement ideas that reduce downtime and boost reliability.
Train operators and teammates on proper equipment operation and basic care.
Source and order parts to maintain critical spares and minimize delays.
Handle facility upkeep including modifications, painting, and cleaning to GMP standards.
Always work safely and in compliance with GMPs and food safety protocols.
Other duties as assigned.
What you’ll bring
