Industrial Maintenance Mechanic / Maintenance Technician
We are hiring experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanics / Maintenance Technicians for a growing manufacturing team. This is a long-term, temp-to-hire, full-time opportunity with steady work, competitive pay, and potential for permanent employment and career growth.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial production equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) and equipment inspections
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues using schematics, manuals, and diagnostic tools
- Maintain motors, gearboxes, conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and production machinery
- Respond to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime
- Complete work orders and documentation through a CMMS
- Follow OSHA, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and plant safety procedures
- Communicate equipment issues and repair recommendations with production and management
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Experience with 120V–480V electrical systems and multimeters
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics
- Experience with preventive maintenance and production equipment
- Basic PLC troubleshooting experience; programming not required
- Skilled trade experience in electrical, hydraulics, plumbing, welding/fabrication, or machining preferred
- CMMS experience preferred
- Knowledge of OSHA and LOTO procedures
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
- Ability to bend, kneel, climb, and work in confined or elevated areas
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
