Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Milwaukee manufacturing facility is looking to hire an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to be responsible for all production equipment and building and grounds maintenance.  Strong background in preventative maintenance and pumps is key.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE TECH:

·        Diagnose, troubleshoot and assess equipment breakdowns to determine extent of necessary repairs

·        Perform preventative maintenance on all production machinery

·        Repair to production machinery including pumps in order to keep lines continuously operational

·        Responsible for repair of buildings and building systems without interruption of production

·        Perform construction, repair, and grounds maintenance projects

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS OF THE INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE TECH:

·        High School Diploma or GED

·        5+ years of experience in maintenance in a manufacturing environment

·        Must have experience repairing and troubleshooting pumps and industrial equipment

·        Ability to Weld (Mig, Tig and Stick)

·        Read blueprints

·        Strong basic math skills including algebra

·        Experience in building maintenance to include HVAC, electrical, carpentry, and plumbing

·        Ability to operate within a team atmosphere and communicate with customers and vendors

·        Able to become forklift certified
