You grab your tools, sync up with a seasoned maintenance lead who knows every press and router by heart, and together you keep production humming.

What you’ll tackle in a typical week

  • Diagnose and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical production equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Execute scheduled preventive maintenance across thermoforming, die cutting, CNC routing, and plastic fabrication assets.
  • Use hand tools, bench tools, and welding equipment to restore function and enhance machine reliability.
  • Fabricate or modify parts and mechanisms to resolve recurring issues and upgrade legacy equipment.
  • Interpret blueprints and wiring schematics to troubleshoot efficiently and safely.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area; proactively identify and address safety concerns.
  • Document work and communicate clearly across shifts to ensure seamless handoffs.
  • Contribute to cost savings, quality improvements, and productivity initiatives; provide technical support and informal training as needed.

What you bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Post‑secondary mechanic training or equivalent hands‑on maintenance experience.
  • Comfort across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Welding experience and proficiency with common hand and bench tools.
  • Ability to read and apply blueprints and wiring diagrams.
  • Growth mindset—eager to keep building skills over time.

Physical demands

  • Standing, walking, lifting, and bending throughout an 8‑hour shift.
  • Lifting up to 40 pounds.
  • Good manual dexterity.
