What you'll be doing:

Maintain and repair coke handling equipment used in plant operations, including equipment such as:

Belt conveyorsHeavy equipmentHydraulic and lubrication pump systemsRailcar loading systemsCoke drum un-heading and re-heading equipmentBridge cranesPumps, motors, hydraulics, etc.Other coke handling and refinery machinery

Performing scheduled preventive maintenance tasksInspecting equipment before and after shiftsFollowing all site safety rules and proceduresKeeping accurate maintenance and service recordsUsing maintenance systems (such as CMMS) to track workSupporting the Savage Maintenance ProgramAssisting with other duties as assigned

Requirements to be successful in this position:

Experience with mechanical repairs and industrial equipmentBasic electrical knowledge (such as 24V-480V systems); PLC experience is helpfulBasic computer skills for entering and tracking workStrong organization and time management skillsA high school diploma or equivalentPreferred experience working on: conveyor systems and related components, cranes or heavy material handling equipmentPreferred experience working as: boilermaker, millwright, industrial service tech, etc.Experience with industrial maintenance programs or systemsAbility to meet various pre-employment requirements which may include but not limited to:

Valid TWIC CardCriminal background checkDrug and alcohol screeningMotor Vehicle Record (MVR) review; valid Driver's license requiredFitness-for-duty assessment to ensure that candidates can safely perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodationAbility to receive and maintain site access credentials or badges per site-requirements
