Volt is hiring for a Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for a leading manufacturing facility in Hayward, CA.

As a Industrial Maintenance Mechanic you will:

• Lead and supervise maintenance technicians in daily repair and preventive maintenance activities
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment
• Coordinate maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
• Inspect, test, and diagnose machinery and equipment malfunctions
• Ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently
• Review blueprints, schematics, and maintenance manuals to support repairs
• Manage maintenance work orders and documentation
• Order parts, tools, and supplies as needed
• Support facility maintenance projects and equipment installations
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies and OSHA standards
• Train and mentor maintenance personnel
• Work closely with production teams to maintain equipment reliability

Schedule: M-F 5:30am- 2:00pm

This is a Temp-to-Hire opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous maintenance supervisory experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and equipment troubleshooting experience
• Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance programs
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
• Welding, fabrication, HVAC, or plumbing experience is a plus
• Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement

Pay Rate: $28/hr. plus DOE

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
