Pay: $25 - $31.50/hr (Potential for merit increase after 90-day probationary period)
Hours: 6 pm 4:30 am (Training on day shift); Schedule to be determined

As an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic, youll contribute to the seamless operation of our clients wood treating facility, working closely with team members to ensure machinery runs efficiently and safely. Your skills will help optimize maintenance processes and uphold safety standards in a dynamic environment.
What Youll Do:
- Perform preventive maintenance and repair activities to keep machinery and equipment in optimal condition.
- Assist senior technicians and the Maintenance Lead with repair and installation of equipment.
- Conduct quality welding jobs, such as piping and support structures, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain and properly store welding equipment and tools to ensure readiness.
- Utilize the work order system to track, document, and complete maintenance tasks.
- Follow and maintain the preventative maintenance program with accurate record-keeping.
- Keep the shop area clean and organized in accordance with safety protocols.
- Attend all safety meetings and training sessions to stay current on best practices.
- Identify worn or defective parts, and perform part replacements.
- Troubleshoot motor/hydraulic systems and perform related repairs.
- Assist with equipment diagnostics and problem-solving activities.
What Youll Bring:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Prior experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance.
- Welding skills highly preferred.
- Willingness to learn treating plant operations.
- Ability to identify worn parts and replace them effectively.
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Basic mathematical skills.

- Experience with motor, hydraulic repair, chains, sprockets, and shafts.
- Knowledge of pneumatic valves and welding techniques.
