What you’ll handle
- Install, maintain, and repair plant machinery and facility systems
- Diagnose and resolve unplanned downtime and breakdowns
- Execute preventive maintenance during scheduled outages
- Troubleshoot using manuals, diagrams, schematics, and work orders
- Repair/replace components, test functionality, and make final adjustments
- Assist with equipment install, startup, and shutdown aligned to Prysmian and OSHA standards
- Document work performed and maintain accurate equipment histories
- Other duties supporting safe, efficient operations
Must-haves
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read and write in English
- Comfort working near high-voltage equipment and in heat-intensive areas
- Ability to work overhead, in tight spaces, and under machinery
- Capable of lifting, pushing, or pulling heavy parts with or without assistance
