Pro Resources is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for a direct hire opportunity with a well-established industrial facility in Indianapolis, IN. This is a first shift position offering competitive pay, a stable Monday-Friday schedule, and the opportunity to work in a small, team-oriented environment.
This facility has roughly 30 employees, allowing for a close-knit workplace where employees are valued and have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact. The position is covered under a union contract that outlines pay practices, overtime procedures, and workplace policies.
Schedule & Pay
- Starting pay: $23.59 per hour
- Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Direct hire opportunity & Benefits available
- Overtime opportunities may be available
Job Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on equipment and facility systems
- Maintain and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components
- Perform basic electrical, painting, and carpentry repairs as needed
- Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to safely load and unload materials
- Complete maintenance records, work orders, and other required documentation
- Package, label, and prepare materials for shipment
- Conduct pre-operational safety inspections on equipment and tools
- Train operators on preventative maintenance requirements when necessary
- Assist with general housekeeping and maintaining a safe work environment
- Work independently while collaborating effectively with supervisors and coworkers
Qualifications
- Experience in industrial maintenance or a related field
- Welding and torch operation experience required
- Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems
- Forklift experience preferred (training provided if needed)
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Ability to read and follow work orders and safety procedures
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors when required
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
