The Maintenance Technician 2 will perform or assist in a variety of skilled, semi-skilled and manual tasks in Building & Industrial Maintenance.

Accountabilities:
Operate power-driven equipment safely and effectively in support of maintenance activities.
Perform a wide range of duties to install, maintain and repair production machinery and facility equipment.
Perform basic machining tasks as needed to support maintenance and repair activities.
Perform emergency and unscheduled repairs during production and complete scheduled maintenance and repairs during planned equipment service.
Perform plumbing, carpentry and other general facility maintenance and repair tasks as needed.
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on production machinery, equipment, and facility systems.
Read and interpret equipment manuals, work orders and technical documentation to perform required maintenance and repairs.
Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems on production machinery and equipment.
Independently resolve routine and complex work-related problems and provide recommendations to supervisory personnel regarding technical issues or unusual circumstances.
May serve as the lead on assigned maintenance or repair projects, coordinating work activities as needed.
Qualifications:
2+ years' maintenance and repair experience, including operating industrial equipment.
Working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and plumbing systems required.
Ability to establish and maintain effective, collaborative working relationships with others.
Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, sketches, technical documentation and work orders.
Ability to safely and effectively use a variety of hand and power tools, testing equipment and maintenance equipment.
Ability to safely operate forklifts, scissor lifts and boom lifts.
Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions and communicate effectively with others.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Manufacturing experience preferred.
Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, Mechanical Technology or a related field required; completion of a relevant skilled-trades apprenticeship preferred.
