Pay: $22 - $30 per hour

As a Maintenance Technician, you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing advanced multi-spindle screw machines to ensure optimal performance, minimize downtime, and support continuous production. You’ll work closely with your team and supervisors to keep everything running smoothly and safely.

What You’ll Do
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for
  • Performing routine preventive maintenance, inspections, and lubrication on industrial machinery, primarily multi-spindle screw machines
  • Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical issues; troubleshooting faults quickly to reduce downtime
  • Repairing, rebuilding, or replacing components such as spindles, gears, bearings, cams, collets, and drive systems on multi-spindle equipment
  • Disassembling, inspecting, repairing, reassembling, aligning, and testing machines after repairs or overhauls
  • Rebuilding machine attachments such as thread rollers, die heads, or slotters as needed
  • Responding swiftly to emergency breakdowns to restore production
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of repairs, parts, and maintenance activities
  • Collaborating with operators and supervisors to identify recurring issues and recommend improvements
  • Following safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and company policies
  • Assisting with installation of new equipment or upgrades when necessary
What You’ll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • High school diploma or GED; technical or vocational training in industrial maintenance, machining, or mechanics preferred
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in equipment repair and maintenance in a manufacturing environment
  • Proven experience repairing and maintaining manufacturing equipment, especially with models like Acme-Gridley, Euroturn, Davenport, or similar
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of gears, bearings, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical systems
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
  • Proficiency with hand tools, precision measuring instruments, and diagnostic equipment
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and operate under pressure effectively
  • Good problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail
