On-call weekends are scheduled a year in advance with two mechanics on call. You may not be called in, but you'll earn four hours of pay just for carrying the phone. If you are called in you automatically receive 4 hours of straight time pay even if the job only takes 30 minutes. For longer call ins you receive time and a half on Saturdays, or double time on Sundays.YOUR DAY AS AN INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIANAs an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you proactively maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and automation systems. Your responsibilities includeinstalling electrical systems per national codes, programming and supporting various systems, and updating electrical schematics and documentation. You conduct preventive and predictive maintenance, improve maintenance procedures, and document your activities diligently.
