Keep Production Moving on 3rd Shift

On a typical third-shift night, you’ll arrive ready to keep equipment, facilities, and operations performing at their best. You’ll start with preventative checks on production machinery and building systems, then jump into hands-on diagnostics when something needs attention. Whether it’s a mechanical hiccup, an electrical fault, a hydraulic leak, or a pneumatic malfunction, you’ll pinpoint the issue and get it resolved quickly to minimize downtime.

A Night in the Role

• Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on equipment, machinery, and facility systems to avoid unexpected stops.
• Inspect, test, and troubleshoot to identify the root cause of malfunctions across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic domains.
• Dismantle equipment safely to repair or replace worn or defective components.
• Install, align, and balance new machinery and replacement parts to spec.
• Clean, lubricate, and fine-tune components to extend equipment life.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to guide repairs and installations.
• Support facility operations, including maintenance on forklifts, building systems, and related equipment.
• Set up and operate machine tools to fabricate or repair parts when needed.
• Document work performed and maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Identify and request needed spare parts and supplies to keep the shop stocked.
• Uphold a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout the shift.

What You Bring

• Two-year technical diploma OR 1–2 years of related experience.
• Proven troubleshooting ability across mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Hands-on experience with common tools and precision measuring instruments.
• Solid basic math skills.
• Strong problem-solving mindset.
• Self-directed work style with clear, effective communication.

Physical & Work Environment

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
• Lift up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 80 lbs occasionally.
• Manufacturing environment with noise and varying temperatures.
• Exposure to fumes, oils, chemicals, and outdoor conditions.
• Comfort working at heights up to 35 feet.
