Industrial Maintenance Technician Helper

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Maintenance Helper to assist the maintenance team in a coating facility keeping the facilities, machinery, and equipment running smoothly. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their skills in the maintenance field while working alongside experienced maintenance personnel. Job is morning shift M-Friday with some saturdays day shift.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the maintenance lead with repairs and preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and building systems
• Handle basic maintenance tasks such as changing filters, lubricating machinery, and replacing light bulbs
• Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues
• Set up and clean up work areas before and after maintenance activities
• Transport tools, materials, and equipment to and from job sites as needed
• Assist in maintaining records of maintenance activities and repairs performed
• Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualification:

• Basic knowledge of maintenance and repair techniques
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Vocational training or coursework in maintenance or a related field is a plus
• Previous experience in a maintenance or handyman role is preferred but not required
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 20–40 pounds frequently and 45–60 pounds occasionally
• Stamina to perform physical tasks including standing, bending, and climbing
• Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
• Ability to work in various environmental conditions including confined spaces and heights
• Ability to wotk on non- ac control facilities
