Industrial Maintenance Technician (Night Shift)
Schedule: 3:30 PM – 1:30 AM (or until close) Location: Jacksonville, FL Employment Type: Full-Time
Position Overview
The Night-Shift Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial production equipment during evening and closing hours. This role ensures safe, reliable operation of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems while supporting end-of-day production needs.
Key Responsibilities
· Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
· Inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical components, forklifts, and assemblies.
· Troubleshoot, install, and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
· Enter work orders, track maintenance activities, update equipment records, and close tasks using the FIIX CMMS platform.
· Assist with end-of-shift equipment checks and ensure the facility is ready for the next production cycle.
· Follow all safety rules, regulations, and lockout/tagout procedures.
· Read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic schematics, and technical drawings.
Basic Qualifications
· High School Diploma or GED.
· Valid driver’s license.
· Minimum three (3) years industrial maintenance experience.
· Experience troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining hydraulic, pneumatic, and/or electrical equipment.
· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
· Ability to learn new skills — Quickly absorb new technical knowledge, tools, and procedures as equipment and processes evolve
· Familiarity with FIIX CMMS or similar maintenance management systems.
· Ability to work in a loud, hot, humid, and greasy environment.
· Willingness to work overtime and weekends when required
