Industrial Maintenance Technician

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

City and State: Marengo

Pay Rate: $25-$35/hr

Schedule/Shift: Onsite, 5 days per week; every other Saturday required; 10–11 hour shifts

Summary:

Responsibilities:- Respond to emergency maintenance requests, troubleshoot issues, and perform repairs to minimize equipment downtime.

• Conduct preventative maintenance including inspections, lubrication, and part replacement to prevent failures.
• Analyze problems using root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventative solutions.
• Maintain accurate documentation including work orders, maintenance logs, and parts inventory.
• Support ongoing improvements, maintain 5S standards, and assist with equipment installations and upgrades.

Qualifications:- Experience in industrial maintenance including electrical, HVAC, CNC, or laser systems (CO2/Fiber preferred).

• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLC troubleshooting (ladder logic experience preferred).
• Familiarity with Mazak and HAAS CNC machines and coating systems (powder or liquid paint).
• Strong problem-solving skills with ability to identify root causes and implement solutions.
• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus; relevant certifications are preferred.
