Industrial Maintenance Technician

Are you a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician looking for an opportunity to play a vital role in a growing manufacturing organization? We are seeking a hands-on professional with strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting experience to support the maintenance, repair, and reliability of our facility and production equipment.

What You'll Do

As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of industrial electrical and mechanical systems to ensure continuous operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose electrical issues using blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings

  • Install, repair, and maintain industrial electrical wiring, fixtures, and related equipment

  • Perform inspections and testing of electrical systems to ensure safety and code compliance

  • Troubleshoot and repair motors, motor starters, relays, contactors, transformers, and electrical distribution systems up to 480V

  • Repair and maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical equipment

  • Perform preventative maintenance on facility and production equipment

  • Inspect and maintain circuit breakers, transformers, and other electrical components

  • Use diagnostic tools and testing equipment to identify and resolve equipment issues

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, reliability, and efficiency

  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow established safety procedures

Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Completion of an electrician apprenticeship program or equivalent industrial electrical experience

  • Experience troubleshooting industrial electrical systems, including 3-phase power and 480V equipment

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, engineering drawings, and technical specifications

  • Experience troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Preferred

  • Technical degree or certification in Electrical Maintenance, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or related field

  • Basic PLC troubleshooting experience

  • Experience operating forklifts and scissor lifts

  • ERP system experience
