Job Purpose:
The purpose of the maintenance position is to ensure functionality and safety of Machinery, buildings, and equipment by performing repairs, preventative maintenance and inspections
Duties:
- Completes Maintenance requests plant wide
- Coordinate with manager regarding maintenance and housekeeping needs
- Follow preventative maintenance schedule
- Maintain and repair heavy industrial equipment, i.e. fork lifts, CNC equipment, overhead cranes
- General maintenance requests such as electrical, plumbing, and carpentry issues.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment as needed
- Support equipment installs, modifications, and continuous improvement efforts
- Follow all safety procedures including PPE
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Attends monthly safety meetings
- Support equipment installs
Qualifications
- Able to determine which maintenance requests are a priority and able to adapt when a higher priority comes up
- Hands on troubleshooting skills
- Physically able to work with heavy equipment. i.e. can lift 50 pounds or more
- Good customer relations skills
- Basic electrical, carpentry, and mechanical experience required
- Proven maintenance experience required
- Experience in a fast paced maintenance role required
- Previous work experience in Industrial manufacturing field preferred
