    Description

    We are seeking a full-time multi-craft Maintenance Team Member to be part of a team of Maintenance Technicians for both first and second shift operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position will report directly to the Maintenance Supervisor in support of both manufacturing and facility maintenance, as well as support staff for spare parts and work-order management. 

     

    This position requires a results-oriented, high-energy, dynamic individual in a fast-paced, high-growth delivery network.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • Maintain the successful operation of production machines according to priority
    • Maintain the safe and efficient operation of production equipment based on business and production priorities
    • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues using a systematic, analytical approach
    • Perform preventative maintenance (PM) and corrective repairs on production machinery and facility equipment
    • Utilize precision measuring tools to align pumps, shafts, motors, and gearboxes
    • Conduct equipment tear-downs, rebuilds, and installations using mechanical blueprints and technical diagrams
    • Perform rigging and lifting of heavy equipment in compliance with all safety requirements
    • Wire and verify operation of three-phase, single-phase, and DC motors in accordance with electrical schematics
    • Interpret and follow mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical layouts
    • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts usage, and repairs using 
    • Computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
    • Communicate maintenance actions and equipment status clearly to operators, supervisors, and team members
    • Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and maintain a clean and organized work environment
    • Support continuous improvement efforts and production goals through effective problem-solving and teamwork. 
    • Adhere to Quality Assurance System and Health and Safety policies.
    • Other duties as assigned by management.


    Professional Skills, Qualifications, and Competencies

    Education and Experience

    High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree preferred

    2-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred

    Language Skills

    Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.

    Ability to Reason

    Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills

    Knowledge of PLCs (preferred but not required)

    Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals

    Computer Skills

    Basic computer skills for maintenance tracking systems

    Certifications

    Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification upon hire

    • Ability to work in varying temperatures (warehouse/production environment)
