    We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join a manufacturing team and support the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of CNC machinery and industrial equipment.

    This position is ideal for a hands-on maintenance professional with experience in CNC equipment, industrial electrical systems, PLCs, variable frequency drives (VFDs), hydraulics, and pneumatics. The Industrial Maintenance Technician will play an important role in minimizing equipment downtime, diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues, and keeping production equipment operating safely and efficiently.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    • Maintain, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair CNC machinery and production equipment.
    • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment.
    • Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical and electronic control systems.
    • Install, set up, maintain, and troubleshoot AC and DC variable frequency drives (VFDs).
    • Troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), including Allen-Bradley SLC-500 and CompactLogix systems.
    • Diagnose electrical problems using appropriate electrical test equipment and meters.
    • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
    • Assist with maintenance of air compressors, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, chilled-water systems, heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning equipment.
    • Read and interpret electrical schematics, electrical line diagrams, relay logic, mechanical prints, and equipment drawings.
    • Identify equipment failures and determine appropriate repairs to minimize production downtime.
    • Follow established safety procedures when working around electrical systems and industrial machinery.
    • Perform additional maintenance-related responsibilities as needed.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
    • Experience troubleshooting and repairing CNC equipment strongly preferred.
    • Experience with industrial electrical and electronic control systems.
    • Working knowledge of AC/DC drives and VFDs.
    • Experience troubleshooting PLCs, preferably Allen-Bradley SLC-500 and/or CompactLogix.
    • Ability to use electrical and mechanical diagnostic/test equipment.
    • Working knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
    • Basic knowledge of air compressors, chilled-water systems, and HVAC equipment.
    • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics, relay logic, mechanical drawings, and equipment prints.
    • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and effectively diagnose equipment problems.

    Physical Requirements

    This position requires regular standing, walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, squatting, pushing/pulling, reaching, grasping, and twisting. Candidates must be able to safely lift and handle materials or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.

    Work Environment

    This position works in an air-conditioned manufacturing environment around operating machinery and industrial equipment. Employees may be exposed to machinery noise, coolants, lubricants, abrasive compounds, electrical equipment, and wiring.

    Ideal Candidate

    The ideal candidate is a well-rounded Industrial Maintenance Technician, CNC Maintenance Technician, or Maintenance Mechanic who is comfortable troubleshooting both electrical and mechanical systems. Candidates with strong experience in CNC repair, Allen-Bradley PLCs, VFDs, industrial controls, hydraulics, and pneumatics are highly encouraged to apply.
