Description

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electromechanical Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team in St. Louis, MO (63110). In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our metal processing equipment and machinery. If you have a passion for troubleshooting and a knack for problem-solving, we want to hear from you!

  • Hourly rate up to $49/hour depending on experience
  • Union benefits (very strong)
  • Weekly pay
  • Seniority-based scheduling (high likelihood of 12-hour overnights)

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electromechanical systems and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues.
  • Conduct inspections and tests to ensure equipment is operating efficiently and safely.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve equipment reliability and performance.
  • Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records of repairs and inspections.
  • Assist in the installation of new machinery and equipment.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge in electromechanical systems.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as an Electromechanical Technician or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • PLC troubleshooting experience a plus
  • Welding experience preferred but not required
  • Proficient in using hand and power tools for maintenance tasks.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
