Pay Range: $28.00 - $38.00/HR Temp to Hire or Permanent

A Cleveland, Ohio area manufacture is recruiting an experiencedIndustrial Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing complex automated manufacturing equipment and facilities systems to maximize production uptime.

Responsibilities

• Roll processing and converting equipment highly desired.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic malfunctions across all production machinery and plant systems.
• Conduct routine inspections, perform scheduled PMs, and service specialized equipment—including lift trucks—to eliminate downtime.
• Install new machinery and sub-components, routing electrical wiring and bending conduit as required.
• Install, service, and completely rebuild fluid/diaphragm/hydraulic pumps, gearboxes, sprockets, bearings, and belt drives.
• Fabricate custom equipment modifications and functional replacement parts using MIG/arc welders and oxy-acetylene torches.
• Perform general plant upkeep tasks, including basic building maintenance, plumbing repairs, and light grounds keeping.
• Upkeep the tool room, manage the spare parts inventory, and maintain digital logs of all repairs, PMs, and parts orders.

Requirements

• High School or GED
• 5+ years of dedicated industrial maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong working knowledge of PLC control systems, wiring, drives, motors, industrial lighting, and power distribution systems (24V DC, 110V, 240V single-phase, and 480V three-phase).
• Blueprint reading, mechanical drawings, and electrical schematics. Proficient with micrometers, tape measures, and calipers.
• Ability to operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts safely.
• Ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs. regularly throughout your shift.
• Outstanding self-organization, analytical problem-solving skills, and the ability to coordinate with vendors and internal team members.
• Relevant professional certifications in electrical, facility, or machinery maintenance.
• Active forklift/tow motor certification.
• Prior experience with web handling, coating, and/or slitting machinery.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
