Description

Industrial Maintenance Technician – Wood Products Manufacturing

Location: Flower Mound, TX

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Overtime: Occasional Saturdays as needed

Compensation: $30–$35 per hour DOE

A day in the life

At 6:00 AM you’re on the floor, verifying that production-critical equipment is ready to run. A conveyor needs a tension adjustment, a woodworking machine’s infeed sensor is out of alignment, and a forklift requires a quick check. By mid-morning, you’re reviewing preventive maintenance tasks, ordering a replacement bearing, and updating maintenance logs. After lunch, you diagnose an electrical fault using a schematic, isolate a hydraulic leak, and help the team prepare for a safety meeting. You finish your shift with the shop clean, your reports submitted, and production humming.
