Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop and improve manufacturing processes for precision machined components.
- Support new product launches and process validation activities.
- Optimize machining operations, including grinding, turning, honing, and milling.
- Design tooling, fixtures, gauges, and manufacturing solutions.
- Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions.
- Drive continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and cost reduction initiatives.
- Manage capital equipment projects and equipment upgrades.
- Support PFMEA activities and process capability improvements.
- Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Engineering, and customers on manufacturability and quality requirements.
The Successful Applicant
Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- 4+ years of manufacturing or process engineering experience.
- Experience with machining processes such as grinding, turning, milling, or honing preferred.
- Knowledge of SPC, root cause analysis, PFMEA, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with ISO/IATF quality standards.
- Experience with CAD software and manufacturing process development.
- Strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a manufacturing environment.
