Your Impact
- Install, assemble, and maintain marine piping systems per specifications and blueprints.
- Lay out, measure, cut, and fit pipe with accuracy using proper tools and methods.
- Pressure-test and inspect systems to detect leaks and correct issues.
- Work side-by-side with welders and other trades to keep schedules on track.
- Practice rigorous safety and follow all applicable regulations.
- Provide clear, courteous communication to clients and teammates.
- Care for tools and equipment to ensure reliability and readiness.
- Tack-weld components using various welding disciplines to prepare for final welds.
What You Need to Succeed
- Demonstrated experience as a pipefitter in the marine/shipyard environment.
- At least 4 years of hands-on pipefitting experience.
- Comfort with basic math and reading tasks.
- Knowledge of layout, fit-up, fabrication, and installation of pipe, flanges, and valves.
- Ability to safely use a range of hand tools.
- Thorough understanding of piping systems, materials, and tools.
- Blueprint and technical drawing literacy.
- Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
- Team-first mindset with strong communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends.
