Industrial Mechanic - 2nd Shift

Schumann Printers is a family-owned printing leader with a legacy of excellence since 1963. We are seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic to join our bindery department. While printing/binding experience isn't required, we are looking for a skilled mechanic who brings a strong background in high-speed manufacturing-we'll provide all the industry-specific training you need to succeed.

The Role In this position, you will be the technical backbone of our finishing lines. You'll be part of a team responsible for keeping our Saddle Stitchers and Perfect Binders running at peak performance. What You'll Do

• Repair: Maintain and troubleshoot high-speed bindery machinery to ensure maximum uptime.
• Maintenance: Perform routine checks and services to prevent equipment failures before they happen.
• Calibration: Use precision instruments to dial in equipment accuracy for high-quality finishing.
• Documentation: Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and parts used.
• Team Support: Collaborate with other maintenance team members and operators to enhance safety standards and shop efficiency.
