Clean Harbors is seeking a Machine Operator Fabricator to join our brand new, state of the art Baltimore manufacturing team. This position focuses on fabricating and welding hazardous waste transportation containers in a controlled, safety-first environment. You'll work primarily with mild carbon steel using brand new machine tools.
Pay: $20-$30

Forklift Certification (preferred)
High School Diploma or GED, associate's degree preferred
Minimum 1+ year machine tool experience; trade school or apprenticeship preferred
Strong safety focus and attention to detail
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available)
Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings
Operate Press Brake, Roller, Hydraulic plate shear, Bandsaw (training provided on each specific machine)
Operate Overhead Crane or other Hoists
Ability to teach skills to others
Safely operate a forklift for material handling
Wear appropriate safety equipment based on a complete analysis of the job site and tasks being performed, including a respirator if required
Layout, cut and fit, utilizing measuring tapes, bandsaws, grinders, hoists and assembly fixtures to fabricate assemblies precisely
Set up welding equipment for weld procedures
Maintain compliance with Clean Harbors safety protocols
Keep work area clean and organized; report equipment issues promptly
Perform periodic mild maintenance tasks such as emptying / unloading chip bins, greasing fittings, cleaning and routine equipment inspections (training provided).
