Description for Industrial Mechanic:
- Identify, isolate, and troubleshoot performance issues inside complicated electrical grids and automated systems.
- Scan and audit technical blueprints and schematics before installation to guarantee flawless field execution.
- Apply excellent manual dexterity to safely route wires, splice connections, and configure small electrical components.
- Communicate technical parameters and safety processes fluently across the floor in both English and Spanish.
- Perform routine machine overhauls and preventative checks cleanly to protect facility manufacturing speeds.
- Adhere strictly to all high-voltage plant safety protocols including Lock-Out/Tag-Out regulations.
Details for Industrial Mechanic:
- Pay Range: $30.00 – $32.30 / hour (DOE).
- Schedule: Monday – Friday | Swing Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM.
- Location: Cowlitz County layout.
- Position Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire.
Requirements for Industrial Mechanic:
- Must be fully bilingual with the ability to speak, read, and write effectively in both English and Spanish.
- Minimum of 3+ years of verifiable experience working as a production mechanic or industrial technician.
- Demonstrated mastery interpreting blueprints, electrical grids, technical schematics, and flow charts.
- High manual dexterity and precision hand-eye coordination required to handle small wire components.
- Exceptional history of daily attendance, prompt punctuality, and a safety-first work ethic.
