E.L. Harvey & Sons has an opening for an Industrial Mechanic to join our team in Westborough, MA.
Schedule: Monday through Friday 6:00am to 4:30pm
Pay Rate: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour Earning potential of $90,000+ annually with available overtime and bonus opportunities.
As a mechanic at our site, your focus will be on the overall health/maintenance of the plant and all supporting machine centers. This will involve inspections, diagnosing, and issuing repairs to mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, grinders, shredders and conveyor systems.
As a mechanic with us the minimum responsibilities are:
+ Preform minor to major repairs/PM maintenance.
+ Performs inspections, diagnosis, and repair of powertrain, electrical and hydraulic systems on heavy equipment, such as excavators, wheel loaders, forklifts, man-lifts, etc.
+ Perform service calls from for plant issues and breakdowns.
+ Maintain a safe, clean environment in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards.
What we need from you:
+ Minimum 1 year of proven experience in the field as an industrial or diesel mechanic.
+ Proficiency in a variety of diagnostic tools, preventative maintenance and repair.
+ Basic tool set
+ Hydraulic experience is a plus
