Industrial Mechanical Assembler

Our client is seeking an experienced Mechanical Assembler to support the build of large industrial machinery and precision sub‑assemblies. This role involves hands‑on mechanical assembly, blueprint interpretation, and occasional machining adjustments to ensure proper fit and function.

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Modify or adjust parts as needed to achieve proper fitment.
• Safely move, position, and handle large machine components.
• Perform mechanical checks, alignments, and quality verifications.
• Operate manual milling machines and lathes for basic part refinements.
• Assemble large machinery and sub‑assemblies with precise fit and alignment.
• Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, including GD&T symbols and tolerances.

Qualifications (Must-Haves)

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints and GD&T.
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring tools.
• All education levels will be considered; equivalent practical experience is fully acceptable.
• 2+ years of mechanical assembly experience (industrial machinery, equipment, or large assemblies)

Preferred Skills:

• Experience operating manual mills or lathes.
• Background in machine building, fabrication, or heavy equipment assembly.
• Vocational or technical training in machining, mechanics, or manufacturing.
