Industrial Mechatronics Maintenance Specialist

• Location: Lehigh Valley manufacturing facility
• Shifts: 2nd or 3rd
• Employment tracks: Contract-to-hire or direct hire
• Compensation: Up to $36/hr, depending on experience
• Contractors paid weekly; direct hires receive full benefits

Core responsibilities

• Execute preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on industrial equipment and PLC-controlled systems
• Diagnose mechanical/electrical faults and return production assets to service
• Perform machine changeovers, setups, adjustments, assembly and disassembly
• Install motors, belts, drives, and related mechanical systems
• Complete work orders promptly; assist with special projects
• Read blueprints, electrical schematics, and CAD drawings
• Track PMs, downtime, and requests using SAP and PC-based tools
• Care for building utilities, including boilers and water softeners
• Support building and grounds tasks as assigned
• Respond to radio-dispatched maintenance needs across the plant
• Coordinate and oversee outside contractors’ work

Qualifications

• Demonstrated industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Exposure to PLCs, motors, sensors, drives, and control systems (preferred)
• Independent problem-solver who collaborates effectively
• Dependable, safety-focused, and professional
• Available for 2nd or 3rd shift assignments
