    Industrial Metal Welding Technician — North Aurora, IL

    About the role

    Join a collaborative team producing high‑quality metalwork for demanding projects. You’ll use multiple welding processes, interpret technical documents, and uphold safety and quality standards while helping deliver on time and on budget.

    What you’ll do

    • Execute MIG, TIG, and stick welds on a variety of metals and thicknesses.
    • Read and apply blueprints, drawings, and specifications to achieve exact results.
    • Inspect and test welds to verify strength, appearance, and dimensional accuracy.
    • Set up, operate, and maintain welding machines, torches, and related tools.
    • Collaborate with teammates to sequence work efficiently and meet project goals.
    • Maintain a safe, orderly work area and follow established safety procedures.
    • Assist with training and mentoring less experienced welders when needed.

    What you’ll bring

    • High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or vocational coursework is a plus.
    • Proven welding experience in manufacturing or construction environments.
    • Strong command of welding methods and safety best practices.
    • Fluent in reading technical drawings and fabrication documents.
    • Detail‑oriented mindset and strong troubleshooting skills.
    • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
    • Welding certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
